I primarily work in glass, a medium which I find endlessly captivating. Glass is about both surface and depth; one looks at it and through it. It is simultaneously there and yet not there, which makes it a potent visual metaphor for the invisible barriers between inner and outer reality. I explore this in my personal work, with particular reference to the relationship between memory, language and perception of the world around us.
